Midsummer Carnival in the Netherlands: On a ride along the cycle paths of the Eastern Netherlands we passed through the town of Goor. In a leafy suburb we were surprised to see numerous groups and floats preparing for their Midsummer Carnival Procession. Here are many puzzling images!

21 JunA Grand Tour of Northern England & Wales 2015: Accompanied by Australians Rebecca and Kevin who developed this website for us in 2005, we made this 2-week 1,100-mile (1760 km) tour by hire car. The Tour started from Brownhills in Newark and visited Nottinghamshire, Shropshire, North Wales, Lancashire and Yorkshire.

Reminded that we had met him before in Ephesus and in Philippi, we developed a list of 24 places where our paths had crossed. Lesvos and Damascus are the exceptions and sadly it's too late now for the latter.

29 MarWinter Camping in Greece: After travelling from the Turkish border through northern Greece to Patras, followed by a full circuit of the Peloponnese, we make major updates to our descriptions of the few campsites open in winter. We also improve and greatly extend the list of places for quiet overnight parking ('night halts', 'free camping', 'stopovers', 'camperstops'). Not least, we have added GPS co-ordinates where available.
