Record Cycle Ride in Fiji 1 September 2013 New Zealand cyclist, Andrew Jameson, successfully rode a complete circuit of Viti Levu, Fiji's largest island, in 24 hours, creating an unofficial record.
Daniel Hochuli let us know about this great achievement, along with a link to a fully illustrated account. He wrote: "My name is Daniel and I am promoting Fijian Tourism.
I have an infographic that I would like to share with you for your website.
Fiji's official airline, Fiji Airways, picked up the story and the
infographic on their blog, which you can read here:

Andrew covered the same route we cycled in February 2001, albeit we took 6 days and enjoyed the view and the friendly greetings and conversations along the way. This was a stopover between Auckland and Los Angeles during our one-year, 12086-mile (19340-km) ride round the world.
